The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards was really bad let's start with the host Chelsea Handler. I am a big fan of her show Chelsea Lately. I like how she speaks her mind and feel like just because people are celebrities they get no free pass when she calls them on their bullshit. The opening Monologue was stale and censored I felt she did not have a chance to really let loose. The Jersey Shore hot tub bit was corny and it work in my opinion. These awards show are predictable. I knew Lady GaGa and Eminem would win all the awards. Lady GaGa keep doing the change my wardrobe thing with these over the tops outfits but hey that is her. I did find it refreshing to put a name and face to the woman who made B.O.B. song "Airplane" worth boarding. She is Hayley Williams from Paramore so great I will enjoy catching up on them. Drake gave a nice performance for the song "Fancy" accompanied by Swizz Beatz and MJB. Justin Bieber is just years from coming out the closet Prince fooled us with Tevin Campbell but Usher no way we see it.........lol....... Speaking on that matter it brings me to KANYE WEST. First all I like to say that he is one of my favorite rappers. I have bought all his albums and I understand they way he changed the game not to many people in any genres of music can hold a match to his light that shines. I do not hate him or never will I hate on him. The risky clothes he wear, the rumors about his sexuality, his attitude all take a back seat to his musical genius. Everyone know by now what he did to Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMA's if you don't where have you been and google it lol. We all know that he was drunk and we also know he is still grieving for his mother. Kanye maybe wanted to channel his inner ODB at the Grammy Awards(Wu Tang is for the kids) or maybe he felt Beyonce made the greatest video of all time. No matter how you put it they made a fuss about like he bullied a little girl. Oh please anybody that get in show business have to be made of teflon to deal with everything that comes your. The media forced him into hiding but he only went to work and made great music. He perfromed his song "Runaway" in which he say on the chourus Let's have a toast for the douchebags, Let's have a toast for the assholes, Let's have a toast for the scumbags, Every one of them that I know Let's have a toast to the jerkoffsThat'll never take work off Baby, I got a plan Run away fast as you can. He loves the role of being an asshole and he felt bad about what he did to Taylor they seem to be fine and moving on. The song showed Kanye was Vulnerable and Insecure but at the same time Confident and Cocky Classic Kanye. That was the Highlight of the night. So even after what happend at last year VMA's Mr.West still closed the show so give that win to the douchebag and on his new single"Power" where he raps "Fuck SNL (Saturday Night Live) and the whole cast/More specifically they can kiss my whole ass /I'm an asshole you niggas got joke" When he grace that stage again which he will even after those lyrics the world will once again toast to the Ultimate Ass Hole. Kanye West!

Redskins Hold(ing) Off 2 Win!

Sunday kickoff the Mike Shanahan era with the Washington Redskins and what better way to do it but on a National Stage against rival and America's team The Dallas Cowboys. Many pick the Cowboys to go to the Super Bowl but not me as long as they have Wade"Frosty The Snowman" Phillips as Head Coach. Donpvan McNabb was making his debut bringing with him from Philly a resume which includes 6 Pro Bowls 5 NFC Championship and a Super Bowl loss to the Patriots. Mr. Taking his talents to south beach was in attendance who is a life long Cowboy fan. The game was a hard fought defensive battle in the first half. The offense showed some life on the first possession of the game in which the manage to get down the field to take a 3-0 lead. McNabb went to Moss and Cooley hell McNabb even scramble for a 23yard gain. The defense played great and capped it off with DeAngelo Hall returning a fumble 37yards for a touchdown. It was 4seconds remaining on the clock and instead of running the ball out Dallas calls a pass play. Tony Romo scrambled then flipped the ball to Tashard Choice who was stripped.......10-0 at the Half Skins. The second half the Cowboys was able to get on the scored board with Romo finding the newly paid(55million) Miles Austin for a touchdown 10-7. The Cowboys were running the ball well so Reed Doughty played the run which cause the touchdown. The Redskins who was out of sync most of the night drove the ball but came up empty with no points. Anthony Armstrong dropped a touchdown pass and they blocthed a field goal but on their last drive McNabb who for the game was 15-32 171 yards and Clinton Portis who manage 18 carries for 63yards but 31yards came on 3 runs on the final drive which allowed go up 13-7. It gave Dallas 1:46 on the clock and 3 timeouts to win. I was at home watching the game thinking well Dallas is gonna scored and when LaRon Landry and Carlos Rogers dropped interceptions I said yeah he we go again the Redskins can not finish. It was 4seconds on the clock Romo scramble and found Roy Williams wide open for a 13yard score. Game Over Dallas wins 14-13.........Wait one second flag on the play. Did Romo go over the scrimmage line? Did Roy push off to get open? Hell did the Redskins commit a penalty? What is the Call Ref?........Holding #71 offense since the offense commited the foul 10second clock run off but since it 4seconds left Game Over! 13-7 Redskins win! The replays show Alex Barron putting Brian Orakpo in a choke hold which he been doing all game that was his third call. The Shanahan Era started with a bang but next week the Redskins play the Houston Texans who beat the Colts who was lead by Arian Foster who had 231 yards so the younger Shanahan better get his offense in gear as we have already seen Jim Haslet have the defense ready for war with or without Albert Haynesworth

All this attention comes from 9 year old Willow Smith made a cameo alongside her dad in "I Am Legend" in 2007. She also appeared in "Kit Kittredge: Amercian Girl and TV in Tru Jackson. Now with her signing with the most successful rapper(Roc Nation) she is stepping into a light of her own. People is gonna say well she got in the business because of her parents which is true to a point but why would Shawn Cory Carter risk is reputation to back her. Think about it Jay-Z have had failures as an Executive (Young Guns, Memphis Bleek, Teira Marie, M.O.P.) but look at who he brought into the game Ne-Yo, Rick Ross, Jezzy, Rihanna, Kanye West. Ok maybe Dame signed Kanye but Jay help launched his career. Jay Z also gave life to JadaKiss and Ghostface Killah career. Willow will have at her exposure the best songwriters/ghostwiters that money can buy not to mention Beyonce' will play a role in some way. Willow have to now stay true to the values that Will and Jada raised her with as she deals with the pressure. The critics think she is to young and I kind of hear them because at 9 years old you should not have haters like she sings in her song. Let's be honest she is not the typical 9 year old she was put in the spotlight the day she was born. $$$$$ Can't Buy Brains

I am sure you have all heard by now that Clifford "Tip" Harris have been arrested along with his wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle in LA with a drug possession. Seriously you mean the same TI who have the #1 movie in America "Takers", the same TI who is schedule to release a new CD this month "King UnCaged". No wait do you mean the same TI who is on probation after serving 10 months in a Arkansas federal prision along with 5 months in a half way house. He was only sentenced a year because of his celebrity and impact he could make on children going through the same problems. He even had a show on MTV "Road To Redemption" where he was able to help young people see their bad choices and give them positive outlets. I am a fan but it is hard to explain, someone who got a get out of jail free card and came home to a beautiful family,millions of dollars and a boost in his career can throw it all away. Now people probably say it is only weed or ecstasy but that is against his probation to have in his possession. I see it like this why not keep your drugs in the fancy hotel suites you stay in, do it behind closed doors. The reason for that is you decrease the risk in a possession charge. I love his music and I don't think he is a bad guy but he needs to be smart about how he handle his life. You ride around in a 400,000 car and speed you bring the attention to you. Then the police find out it is you driving and they looking for a chance to bring you down. Did Tip know the minute he got out of jail that the spotlight will be on him brighter and not just the one on stage. Now he must go through the legal system again where they know him to well and hope they show mercy. He can't use I'm a celebrity I can help kids because the kids will say you didn't listen to the law why should we. He got money alot of it,a career most people would die to have, and the type family I wish I could have came from but smarts maybe not as much. He should find "Motivation" so he can keep "Doing His Job" and give his family "Whatever they Like" cause being stupid and locked up is not how Clifford "Tip" Harris want to "Live His Life"
